Earlier this week, we announced the sad death of Professor Michael Joseph Alexander, husband of Eileen (dec’d 1986), and Mary, and father of Lucy, Patrick and Flora. 

We have created this page to share funeral arrangements (below), and details of the Amyloidosis Research Fund.

The heart condition that Michael suffered from was a rare type of cardiac amyloidosis - an under-researched condition. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Amyloidosis Research Fund, a charity set up by the Royal Free Hospital. The donation button is on the right hand side of this page.

Please do pass on the funeral details to anyone we may have missed. And if you could let us know if you are coming, we would be grateful, so we can plan catering for the celebration.
